This website is our primary way of sharing and collecting information about Troop activities. If you plan on attending an event, please make every effort to sign up on the website. We use the information collected here to plan adult support, food, carpools, etc., and also to decide if an event will run or not. We also use this to track awards for year round camper. Youth Protection Training - at least one parent is requested to take the training

Posted on Oct 16 2018 - 8:03pm

We are requesting that at least one parent completes the BSA Youth Protection Training. The purpose of this request is to allow parents to understand how adults in the troop protect their son, and the expectations of parents when they are at meetings, driving scouts to camp-outs, or participating at camp-out etc. We also would like parents to explain these rules to their Scout(s). We feel that parents are best suited to know their son's maturity to determine how much to share. This is a departure from the training that BSA has recommended in the past. Once the training has been complete please email a copy of the certification to Mr Romansky at Brian@Romansky.com.

You can access the training modules at https://my.scouting.org/ or download the myscouting app. Create a new account if you do not have one already then click on the link to start the training. You do not need to a BSA number to complete the training. If you need help with the training please contact Mrs Pearson at committeechair@cttroop62.org
